Grid and turn order

Lay a square or hex grid over the map on the Table Display, and show the Initiative turn order to each side of the table.

Grid on the table

Your map has no grid, or its grid does not match the 1 inch your minis need. Draw one over it.

Under Grid on the table, tick Enable grid and set:

  • Squares or Hexes,
  • the color,
  • Cell size, to match your minis,
  • Offset ↔ and Offset ↕, to line it up with the map,
  • Opacity and Line thickness.

The grid stays visible above the fog of war. It appears as soon as a map is on the table. Spell areas with a fixed size use it: one cell is 5 ft.

Turn order on the table

Under Initiative on the table, press Show order on display. The order of the current fight appears on the display, and the creature whose turn it is stands out.

Players sit on different sides of the table, so you choose where the order is shown: enable any of Left, Right, Top and Bottom, and each side gets its own copy turned towards the players sitting there.

Where the order comes from depends on where the display runs:

  • A second monitor in the same browser as Initiative (for example both in the DM Dashboard): the display follows Initiative directly, turn by turn.
  • A display on its own device, like a mini PC or a TV browser: it gets the order through your account while a table session runs. Start the session on the Table; Initiative also starts it by itself when you press Start fight and you are signed in.

Hide order on display takes it away.

Mřížka na stůl

Tvoje mapa nemá mřížku, nebo její mřížka nesedí na palec, který potřebují tvoje figurky. Nakresli přes ni vlastní.

V části Mřížka na stůl zaškrtni Zapnout mřížku a nastav:

  • Čtverce nebo Hexy,
  • barvu,
  • Velikost pole podle figurek,
  • Posun ↔ a Posun ↕, ať sedí s mapou,
  • Průhlednost a Tloušťka čáry.

Mřížka zůstává vidět i nad mlhou války. Objeví se, jakmile je na stole mapa. Oblasti kouzel s pevnou velikostí podle ní počítají: jedno pole je 5 stop.

Pořadí tahů na stole

V části Iniciativa na stůl stiskni Zobrazit pořadí na displeji. Na displeji se objeví pořadí aktuálního boje a tvor, který je na tahu, je zvýrazněný.

Hráči sedí po různých stranách stolu, takže si vybereš, kde se pořadí ukáže: zapni kteroukoli ze stran Vlevo, Vpravo, Nahoře a Dole a každá strana dostane vlastní kopii natočenou k hráčům, kteří tam sedí.

Odkud displej pořadí bere, záleží na tom, kde běží:

  • Druhý monitor ve stejném prohlížeči jako Iniciativa (třeba obojí v DM dashboardu): displej sleduje Iniciativu přímo, tah po tahu.
  • Displej na vlastním zařízení, třeba mini PC nebo prohlížeč v televizi: pořadí dostane přes tvůj účet, dokud běží sezení u stolu. Sezení spustíš na Stole; Iniciativa ho po přihlášení spustí i sama, když stiskneš Začít boj.

Skrýt pořadí na displeji ho zase schová.
